Johns Creek Christmas Tree and Dreidel Lighting
Thursday, December 5
The jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, makes an early appearance at this festive party highlighted by the traditional lighting of a giant dreidel display and 30-foot Christmas tree at Newtown Park (Park Place event lawn & clubhouse parking lot).

Cost: FREE
Children can give Santa their holiday wish list and participate in a variety of kids’ activities. Hot chocolate, holiday treats, and live music make this a fun filled family event.
Boxes for the “Toys for Tots” annual toy drive will be on hand to accept new, unwrapped toys or games. Toys can also be dropped of at Park Place Senior Center or one of the city’s fire stations. Toys are accepted until mid-December.
Alpharetta Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 6
To kick off the holiday season the City of Alpharetta will host the annual Season of Celebration, presented by WellStar, downtown on the Town Green! The celebration fills the downtown streets with our annual tree lighting, musical performances, photos with Santa, falling snow, roasting marshmallows. a holiday market, children’s crafts, balloon twisting, food trucks, gift wrapping stations and a Holiday Food Drive benefiting North Fulton Community Charities!

City of Norcross Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 6, 5:30 – 8:00 pm Thrasher Park
Every year, the City of Norcross hosts a plethora of activities for the holidays through its annual event ‘Sparkle! A Celebration of Kids, Creativity and Magic.’ This year is no different, with carriage rides, marshmallow-roasting, a Christmas tree lighting, concerts and more taking over the month of December in the city. So what are you waiting for? Come and get your ‘Sparkle’ on in Norcross!
Duluth Deck the Hall Event
Saturday, December 7, 2017 2-7pm (formerly the Duluth Tree Lighting event)
Bring in the holiday spirit in Duluth! Enjoy live music, beautiful decorations, kids’ activities such as inflatables, face painting, games, ornament making, a snow playground, snow slide and more are on Duluth Town Green.
Chat with City Council Members during City Hall’s Open House from 4pm-5pm and check out the beautiful decorations. Light refreshments will be available. Don’t forget to stop by and say hi to Santa. The event is brought to you by the City of Duluth & Duluth Fall Festival. It is free to the public!
Annual Holiday Celebration on the Square Roswell

This free family event includes carolers from local schools, lighting of Town Square, a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by the Mayor, and a special visit from Santa Claus! Pictures with Santa are available. Holiday shuttle busses are available to Santa’s Secret Gift Shop.
