FALL and Pumpkins go hand in hand!!  It seems summer went by so fast and before we know it the Holidays will be here. But for now we have plenty of time to savor all the things that make the Fall season so special.  Whether it is driving to North Georgia to see the changing of the leaves, hiking, or shopping at the many fall festivals we can make the planning easier for you!  AlpharettaMoms.Org has compiled a list of many of the area pumpkin patches to help make your pumpkin search easier. Alpharetta First United Methodist Church 

Pumpkin Patch opens early October.   The pumpkin patch raises funds for children’s ministries. AMO loves the variety of pumpkins this patch has to offer and the location is right in downtown Alpharetta! Weeknights 5-8 pm, Saturdays 10 a.m. – 6 pm and Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 pm Facebook

BERRY PATCH FARMS OPEN OCTOBER 6 – 28

Bring the family for a fun day at the farm with a Tractor ride out to their pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin. We have been here plenty ‘a times and it is a wonderful experience. Weekends are crowded the closer to Halloween!  Pick out your pumpkins and take the hayride back to get some apple cider, a homemade fried pie and some boiled peanuts and popcorn. The kids will enjoy the playground and baby farm animals.The farm sells gourds, mini pumpkins and Indian corn which are great decorating ideas for the Fall season.  Berry Patch Farms has many different jams, jellies and dressings that make great Christmas gifts too.

Weekdays: October 15-30; 3:30- 7pm. Weekday mornings: Oct 1-26 9:30-3:30 pm. Groups with reservations only.  Credit cards, CASH or CHECK!! Parking $3 on weekends.   770-926-0561.

BURTS FARM

Opened on September 1. The famous farm near Amicalola Falls in the North Georgia Mtns. that draws crowds every year. Hayrides and some of the biggest pumpkins you have ever seen (1lb – 150 lbs!). Take a hay ride and shop at their country store to buy your Indian corn, corn stalks, bays of hay, gourds and visit their store for fresh baked items. Free admission and parking.  Fee for the hayride.

KINSEY FAMILY FARM    NEAR 400 OUTLETS GAINESVILLE

You can come relax outside in the fresh air, take a scenic hayride around the farm, and bring a picnic lunch and relax at their picnic tables. In the barn you will likely find all of the seasonal crops you are looking for including thousands of pumpkinsof all sizes, shapes, and colors.  There is no charge for admission and large groups, gardening clubs, church groups, or just big families are pumpkinswelcomed.

There is a small concession stand for drinks and snacks (you shouldn’t miss out on the sliced caramel apples!), but please feel free to bring a picniclunch and stay awhile. Kinsey Family Farm provides picnic tables for your family to enjoy. There is also a kids area with barn animals children can feed.

The fall season is not complete without a country hayride! Hayrides offered throughout the week and again on the weekends for a fun hayride around our scenic farm. $3 per person (2 and under is FREE!).

ROCK RANCH

The Rock Ranch is a 1,500 acre working farm.  Visit the farm for Fall Family Fun Days and Sunday Fun Days – each weekend in October and the first Saturday in November. Themed fun includes hot air balloons, smashing pumpkins, superheroes, and monster truck shows!  Tractor rides, paddle boats, cow train, miniature train, cow-a-bunga zip lines, tiny town, pedal carts and more!

SCOTTSDALE FARMS

Pumpkin patch is typically open from the end of September through the end of October. On weekends they offer family fun; hayrides, a petting zoo and other child friendly educational events.

SOUTHERN BELLE FARM

Fall at Southern Belle Farm is full of fun. Farm Admission includes: Cornfield maze(s), Hayride, Cow Train ride, Corn Cannon – 3 shots, Jumping Pillow, Racing Pedal Carts, Giant Tunnel Slide, Kiddie korral, Corn Box, Rubber Duck Races, meeting our Barnyard Animals, Seesaws and Pig Races.

Sundays 1-6pm  9/22 – 11/4  1pm-6pm

STONE MOUNTAIN  ANNUAL PUMPKIN FESTIVAL   SEPT. 22 THROUGH OCT 28

Join Spookley the Square Pumpkin and lift his friends into the air for a Dance-A-Long Party Parade that dances through Crossroads, and then meet him at Spookley’s Pumpkin Patch Meet & Greet.

Plus, enjoy all of your favorite Stone Mountain Park attractions during Pumpkin Festival. Trek through the treetops on SkyHike®, one of the nation’s largest adventure ropes courses, or soar to the top of the mountain on Summit Skyrideand take in the beautiful fall views from more than 825 feet above the ground.

UNCLE SHUCKS  DAWSONVILLE

Visit Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch and start a new family tradition: Explore the Corn Maze, Find Your Perfect Pumpkins, Shoot the Corn Cannon, Great Food and Fun, Fall Decorations. Hayrides. Bonfire for s’mores.  Pick up a map and get lost in their annual corn maze not far from 400 and the North GA Premium Outlets.  Haunted Maze begins at dusk. Click HERE for Hours and Rates.  No admission to visit the grounds, pay only for activities you select and items for purchase. Get lost in the corn maze – one for the little doodles too. Head to Hillcrest Apple Orchards after Uncle Shucks!

WARBINGTON FARM   CUMMING

Visit their Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Hayrides and fun fall activities!  Slime day 9/28, Pumpkin Palooza 10/6, Farmer for the Day 10/20.
