Ashebrooke Night of Lights Cumming Every Night in December
Every year, the Ashebrook Community in Cumming light up their homes to bring joy to the area and raise funds for a local cause.
Every night in December our homes are lit to showcase the joy and wonder of the season.
BUT, on 1 BIG night – the spirit of the season bursts throughout the neighborhood as our entire Ashebrooke community creates a spectacle. In prior years we’ve been known to see Santa, falling snow, hot cocoa, cider, reindeer, bagpipers, our famous live nativity scene populated by Ashebrooke kids and so, so much more. It truly is a can’t miss event.
It is not a “light show” – just 300+ homes lit up to varying degrees for the holiday season. However, yes there are a few homes with music to accompany their lights.

It is open nightly from 6PM – 9PM, thru New Year’s Eve. The Christmas light display has been put on by the Jakobsen family since 2013. Made up of about 14,000 lights, there are several additional displays, such as a German Village and LGB trains, Santa’s Workshop with 20 animated elves making toys, and an animated singing Santa Band.
The display includes 8 display settings, each one with a Christmas scene. The garage display is like a picture out of a Norman Rockwell calendar, and will bring back memories of Christmas past.
Located at 405 Waverly Hall Drive, it can be reached from the intersection of Woodstock Road (Hwy 92) and Bowen Road. Corner landmarks are Target and CVS Pharmacy. Head south one block and turn right on Waverly Hall Drive and go about six-tenths of a mile to 405. Santa’s Village is located on the right side – with the displays located in the display trailer and the garage.
Feel free to visit and walk down the driveway to view the display!! On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, the Jakobsen’s provide train rides to their visitors as well!! Donations are graciously appreciated, and are used to purchase toys for Toys for Tots!
