Ashebrooke Night of Lights Cumming
Every night in December their homes are lit to showcase the joy and wonder of the season.
It is not a “light show” – just 300+ homes lit up to varying degrees for the holiday season. However, yes there are a few homes with music to accompany their lights. ** Check their website for more information.
December 19th 6pm is the Ashbrooke Night of Lights for charity. For one night during the holidays, our neighborhood comes together and lights luminaries throughout the subdivision in support of a good cause. The tradition of luminaries comes from Mexico and is a beautiful way to celebrate the season, in addition to the amazing holiday lights many of our neighbors put up each year.
The neighborhood adopted this tradition in 2006 as a way for us to help a young girl and her family in the community. She had a rare eye cancer called bilateral retinoblastoma which was attacking her second eye, and required frequent trips to Philadelphia for treatment.
To our delight, the tradition lives on each year as lives are positively impacted for a greater purpose.

1. The Glowing Grove along the Flower Walk leading to Skyline Garden will be adorned with trees programmed to change colors and create subtle motion.
2. An invasion of Brilliant Bugs will infest the Camellia Walk with many more added to last year’s swarm.
3. Oversized lighted flowers will lure guests to Cascades Garden – as if Ice Goddess weren’t a big enough draw there!
4. Listen for an all-new sound track at “Nature’s Wonders,” the vertical, moving light display hovering over the Canopy Walk, with music featuring a mix of classicals along with holiday medleys and a few pop culture faves.
5. Those who haven’t been able to catch SUPERnatural: Glass Art in Bloom at night when artist Jason Gamrath’s sculptures are dramatically lit will be able to experience two of his larger installations – the giant lotuses in Skyline Garden and the towering aloes in Storza Woods – during the show.
