The Holidays bring so many wonderful things to do with your spouse, family and/or friends including checking out local light shows.  Several homes and neighborhoods in the area put on light display shows for FREE. Drive by, tune in on your radio and enjoy the holiday light shows without having to get out of your car! Donations to local charities may be accepted.

Ashebrooke Night of Lights   Cumming

Every night in December their homes are lit to showcase the joy and wonder of the season.
It is not a “light show” – just 300+ homes lit up to varying degrees for the holiday season. However, yes there are a few homes with music to accompany their lights. ** Check their website for more information.

December 20 is the Ashbrooke Night of Lights for charity. For one night during the holidays, our neighborhood comes together and lights luminaries throughout the subdivision in support of a good cause. The tradition of luminaries comes from Mexico and is a beautiful way to celebrate the season, in addition to the amazing holiday lights many of our neighbors put up each year.
The neighborhood adopted this tradition in 2006 as a way for us to help a young girl and her family in the community. She had a rare eye cancer called bilateral retinoblastoma which was attacking her second eye, and required frequent trips to Philadelphia for treatment.
To our delight, the tradition lives on each year as lives are positively impacted for a greater purpose.

5005 Luke Drive Cumming, GA 30040     Nearest intersection: Kelly Mill Road and Bethleview

Emory Hospital Johns Creek

Beautiful light display along the road to Emory Hospital Johns Creek. You can start at either end of Hospital Drive, but you will want to turn around and come back, as there are lights on both sides of the road, which has a wide median with trees and other obstructions.

6325 Hospital Parkway Johns Creek, GA 30097

Hillbrooke Neighborhood Johns Creek

Residents in the neighborhood decorate their houses beautifully.  Hillbrooke is located off of Abbott’s Bridge in Johns Creek. Once in the subdivision, follow to 1st stop sign, then go right. The first street on right is Gladewood. 1670 Gladewood Drive Johns Creek

Holly Springs Light Show   First Baptist Church Holly Springs

“If you look around at night in downtown Holly Springs you will see a cross made out of Christmas lights.”  Remember to dim your headlights during the show.

A custom mix by DJ Griswold debuts tonight in the light show starting at 9:00 (9:00, 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30 shows). It is the 2nd to last song played during the show. At this time they plan on only running this song in the playlist starting at 9:00. The story of the Christmas Monkey is only in shows between 6:00 – 9:00. Merry Christmas! Dim your lights and tune your radio to 103.7 FM. Please say thank you by donating and supporting our causes.   2632 Holly Springs Pkwy, Holly Springs, GA 30142

Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier

Atlanta Botanical Garden Nights Holiday Nights

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights tickets go on sale October 1! Celebrate the 10th year Anniversary! This year’s show, through January 16, will provide a far more intimate experience than in years past with plenty of “room to glow”. That’s because in an effort to promote social distancing during the pandemic, nightly guest capacity will be significantly limited with all timed tickets available only online.  Visitors to what’s traditionally an extremely popular event will be able to spread out among the Garden’s 33 acres for what could be their most enjoyable experience ever at Garden Lights, Holiday Nights.

To celebrate the show’s anniversary, here are things to look forward to:

Look for all new colors – emphasizing purple, green and aqua – as the Garden purchases new LED lights every three years.
Check out your favorite giant plant sculptures from the current exhibition, Alice’s Wonderland Reimagined costumed in lights instead of annuals, such as the Red Queen, the White Rabbit and the Phoenix.
Don’t miss Ice Goddess’s new locks. Her chilly blues, silvers and whites have been warmed up in a nod to spring and the promise of hope.
Enjoy a new soundtrack at Nature’s Wonders, the vertical, musical light display descending over the Canopy Walk. Depictions of volcanic eruptions, summer thunderstorms and tranquil sunrises are choreographed with nostalgic classics.

World of Coca-Cola

Lights, Camera, Smile: From their first step into Pemberton Place, guests are transported into a holiday spectacle as they walk through a 28-foot-tall ornament of lights. The glittering lights and giant ornaments dotting the lawn set the scene for the rest of the experience that continues inside.
