The Holidays bring so many wonderful things to do with your spouse, family and/or friends including checking out local light shows. Several homes and neighborhoods in the area put on light display shows for FREE. Drive by, tune in on your radio and enjoy the holiday light shows without having to get out of your car! Santa’s Village is open for 2017 ~ nightly through New Year’s Eve!! You are invited to visit Santa’s Village – a collection of lights, animated characters, trains and Christmas characters for you and your children to enjoy. We also do train rides on weekends.
It is open nightly from 6PM – 9PM, thru New Year’s Eve. The Christmas light display has been put on by the Jakobsen family since 2013. Made up of about 14,000 lights, there are several additional displays, such as a German Village and LGB trains, Santa’s Workshop with 20 animated elves making toys, and an animated singing Santa Band.
The display includes 8 display settings, each one with a Christmas scene. The garage display is like a picture out of a Norman Rockwell calendar, and will bring back memories of Christmas past.
Located at 405 Waverly Hall Drive, it can be reached from the intersection of Woodstock Road (Hway 92) and Bowen Road. Corner landmarks are Target and CVS Pharmacy. Head south one block and turn right on Waverly Hall Drive and go about six tenths of a mile to 405. Santa’s Village is located on the right side – with the displays located in the display trailer and the garage.
“We hope to see you and that you enjoy your visit. We even have heaters on colder evenings.”
Feel free to visit and walk down the driveway to view the display!! On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, the Jakobsen’s provide train rides to their visitors as well!! Donations are graciously appreciated, and are used to purchase toys for Toys for Tots!
