Hear phrases such as, “Chivalry has been redeemed,” and “How may I help you My Lady?” at a Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament show. Medieval Times Dinner and Entertainment Atlanta takes you back in time to Medieval Spain where you will be treating like royalty, watch Knights compete and eat a delicious 4 course meal with your hands!
The King and/or Queen will greet you upon entry and offer to have a picture taken with you. All employees at the castle wear full Medieval attire and speak with an adorable accent. Tour the 11th Century style castle before or after the show ~ see the falcon, tour the Museum of Torture for $2 which has displays of torture instruments used in the Middle Ages, purchase a drink and/or Medieval weaponry.
During the show, “Travel through the mists of time to a forgotten age and a tale of devotion, courage and love. Imagine the pageantry and excitement that would have been yours as a guest of the King ten centuries ago. That’s exactly what you will experience at North America’s most popular dinner attraction. See our electrifying show featuring heroic knights on spirited horses displaying the astounding athletic feats and thrilling swordplay that have become hallmarks of this unique entertainment experience. Enjoy a “hands-on” feast as the dynamic performance unfolds before you. A sweeping musical score and brilliant lights provide a fabulous backdrop for this spellbinding experience that blurs the boundary between fairy tale and spectacle!“In myth and in legend, the Knight and the horse are forever linked. Few things are held in such great esteem by the Medieval warrior than a stalwart horse, who possesses the bold courage of his master and the quiet strength of his ancestors.” Video from the beginning of the show March 25, 2017: medievaltimes2017
I recently took my son and a few friends to the show ~ it was a memorable night and the boys couldnt wait to get home and pretend they were Knights as well! Throughout the show, we happily cheered for our Knight, watched in awe as the King of Arms showed his expert equestrian skills and were impressed by the majestic falcon soaring through the air at the command of the Royal Falconer. Discounted tickets for Adults $37.95, Kids & Students $29.95 are available with code SB17BLOG.
We always love this show and I highly recommend it for a family outing, with friends and/or for a child’s or adult’s birthday party. All opinions are my own. I received free tickets to the show in exchange for my opinion.
