What are brain teasers? Brain teasers are a sort of exercise for the brain; they help strengthen and stimulate our brain. January is International Brain Teaser and here we explore what this entails. A brain teaser is a form of puzzle that requires thought and focus for us to solve. The brain is a muscle that we need to keep honing to stay strong. With this month long event, you can challenge yourself and family daily with brain teasers to keep your brain extra stimulated. Logic puzzles and riddles are specific types of brain teasers (Days of the Year).
In January, try a few mentally-stimulating challenges for each day. Ideas include: board games (Scrabble), word/crossword puzzles, riddles, rubiks cube, and solitaire. Experiment with some of these with friends and family members to engage one another.
