Hillcrest Orchards will soon be ready for their Fall Apple Pickin’ Jubilee on weekends beginning in September. Hillcrest Orchards offers a full day of entertainment filled with apple picking, pig races, a petting zoo, and much more! Hillcrest Orchards is located in the North Georgia mountains and while only open 3 months of the year, the fun they offer will be so remembered that you can’t wait to come back the following year!
The market, petting farm, and wagon rides open this Saturday, September 1!! I don’t know about you but I can hardly wait for some fresh, juicy, Hillcrest apples. The bakery will be in full swing all weekend cranking out fresh hot doughnuts, pies, and our famous apple fritters too!!

Visit their air-conditioned dining room for a break from the warm weather. Hillcrest Orchards is located on Hwy 52 in Ellijay along Apple Orchard Alley, this Orchard/Farm is a must do for FALL FAMILY FUN!
U-pick is only available on Festival Weekends September 8 – October 28. In addition to pig races they also have SWIMMING PIG RACES! Make your way down the apple alleys as you learn how apples grow in the Apple Tree Maze. They planted trees and trained them espalier fashion to create walls of trees. Play unique games and make lots of pics at the numerous selfie stations throughout the maze!!!
Admission is $12 per person on Saturday and Sunday and includes the petting farm. Non-weekend admission is $8 and includes petting farm, wagon rides, playground, jumping pillow, trike rides, and all the playgrounds. Visit their website HERE for hours of operation. Pack your own lunch or purchase hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks from the food vendors. Hillcrest Orchards is open September 8th through November with the Apple Pickin’ Jubilee on weekends through October 28th. U-picks on weekends and the petting farm, wagon rides and playgrounds will be open daily.
School field trips, Senior Tours and the Petting Farm are available as well. Visit the bakery and farm market before you leave. There are bushels and bushels of fresh tree ripened apples. Fresh squeezed 100% pure apple cider (flash pasteurized). Try their cider slush, it is delicious! Hundreds of canned goods from apple butter to hot chow chow! Find mountain honey right next to the observation bee hive.
The fall isn’t the same unless you get to pick your own apples, milk Buttercup and watch the famous pig races! Visiting Hillcrest Orchards has always been a highlight of the fall season for our family.
